The Hamas attack on Israel has reportedly claimed the lives
of at least 22 Americans.
A US State Department spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday
that at least 22 Americans had been killed in the Hamas terrorist attack in
Israel.
"We express our deepest condolences to the victims and
the families of all those affected," the spokesperson said.
National Security Council adviser Jake Sullivan told
reporters Tuesday that at least 20 Americans are missing and it is unknown how
many Americans are being held captive.
On Tuesday, Vice President Biden made a public statement
