Black Lives Matter in Chicago retracted its messages of support for Palestine

Black Lives Matter in Chicago walked back its inflammatory social media posts against Israel on Wednesday morning, saying it still supports Palestine, despite Israel's battle with Hamas.

“Yesterday we sent messages that we are not proud of. “We stand with Palestine and the people who will do whatever is necessary to live free,” the account wrote. “Our hearts go out to the grieving mothers, those who rescue babies from the rubble, who are in danger of being completely annihilated.”

The group acknowledged the families and civilian victims of the attack in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and confessed that it was not "proud" of the propaganda it sent.Politicbrief
