Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who relaunched his popular podcast this week after leaving the agency in January, issued another warning about a sadistic group known as "764" that targets minors in chat rooms.

"I want you to pay very close attention to these three numbers," Bongino said in a video clip from his show on Wednesday, as a graphic on screen read, "A very serious warning to all parents," flanked by flashing emergency light emojis.

“I want you to pay close attention to these three numbers,” Bongino said, referring to the group's name, while the message “A very serious warning for all parents” appeared on screen, accompanied by alarming graphics.

She explained that these communities can use manipulation, intimidation, and coercion tactics to recruit vulnerable young people, so she recommended strengthening supervision of electronic device use, maintaining constant communication with children, and being alert to changes in behavior or suspicious contacts.

The warning adds to the concerns of digital security and child protection experts, who have pointed out that anonymity and easy access to social media platforms can be exploited by networks seeking to exploit or harass minors.

Bongino emphasized that prevention and information are key tools for reducing risks, and urged families not to underestimate the activity that occurs in seemingly harmless virtual environments.
