The top official of the U.S. border control agency assured
that he will not leave Minneapolis until all assigned operations have been
completed.
The official emphasized that the presence of the forces
under his command is part of a federally coordinated security strategy aimed at
maintaining order and complying with the guidelines established by central
authorities.
During his statement, he stressed that the withdrawal of
personnel is not planned in the short term, as the priority is to complete each
phase of the operation before considering any withdrawal. In this regard, he
reiterated that the mission requires continuity, constant supervision, and the
sustained deployment of human and logistical resources.
He also explained that the implemented actions seek to
reinforce surveillance, support other security agencies, and address situations
that may pose risks to the community. Therefore, he insisted that the agents
will remain in Minneapolis for as long as necessary to ensure that the stated
objectives have been successfully achieved.
