Alex Soros wrote an op-ed in Politico about the Open Society
Foundations founded by George Soros and Soros' mission. Part of that mission is
to prevent Donald Trump from serving another term in the White House.
"I think a MAGA-style Republican victory in next year's
US presidential election could, in the end, be worse for the EU than for the
US.
"Such an outcome will jeopardize European unity and
undermine the progress made on many fronts in response to the war in
Ukraine," Soros said.
Trump has been outspoken in his opposition to the Biden
administration's costly and continued support for the war in Ukraine. Ukraine
has received billions in cash, aid and weapons since February 2022.
