The government of Jair Bolsonaro continues to advance with structural reforms in Brazil. Economy Minister Paulo Guedes is promoting a new stage to rationalize the tax system and generate strong fiscal relief. It is estimated that the reform will have the support of Congress.

For the first time since 1966, Brazil intends to correct a series of inefficiencies in the tax system, mainly by updating the amounts established in each of the sections of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF) and modifying the taxation for companies in dividends and investment.
