The Venezuelan opposition assured this Monday that the Prosecutor's Office is "trying to evade the jurisdiction" of the International Criminal Court (ICC) by ordering to expand the investigations into the homicides of councilor Fernando Albán, protester Juan Pablo Pernalete and military officer Rafael Acosta Arévalo, three emblematic cases in the country.
In a press conference of the opposition sector headed by
Juan Guaidó, former deputy Delsa Solórzano said, in response to a statement by
the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, last Saturday, that the Venezuelan
Justice, which she considers close to President Nicolás Maduro , only seek to
evade the ICC.
