China today approved the internal use in the Army of the new
coronavirus vaccine developed by the Military Scientific Institute and Chinese
biopharmaceutical company CanSino Biologics, the company announced today.
The company, based in the northeast city of Tianjin,
indicated that its new recombinant coronavirus vaccine (adenovirus vector
Ad5-nCoV) was approved by the Army on June 25 for "use by the
military" in the framework of the "medicines for special needs",
