The political, governmental, security, and social crisis in
Mexico is worsening as the second social-communist government fails to gain a
foothold and public criticism grows.
In the final days of February, misunderstood as a result of
a trade attack by the United States with the threat of 25 percent tariffs on
Mexican products, the Mexican government decided to test once again whether a
rhetoric of "patriotism" could unite the divided Mexican society, and
it failed.
Just a few days ago, the Mexican government's inability or
lack of interest in solving the growing problem of insecurity was made clear
when citizens from a group of relatives searching for their missing loved ones
located a ranch in the state of Jalisco, which had been used to murder and
incinerate Mexicans, presumably seeking employment, who died.
Mainly as a result of these events, a cloud that has refused
to disappear from the public's mind is once again making an appearance and
gaining significant space on social media, questioning the legitimacy of the
2024 electoral process, in which the so-called 4T officially won the federal
government, state governments, and state and federal legislatures, without
anyone believing that this was actually the case.
The shadow of an election that was not in line with the
popular will grows, and as reprehensible events appear on the Mexican stage,
citizens are "demanding" clarity about a process that they denounced
as having had results contrary to the will of the people.
Mexico lives on a growing mountain that also threatens to
collapse at any moment./ESGLOTAC
