Eric Adams, the Democratic Party candidate for mayor of New
York City who won the primary elections, recently made statements making it
clear that his fight in the city will be against socialism, the movement within
the party that is destroying the city.
In a video published by the New York Post, Adams assures
that “I am not competing against candidates. I am competing against a movement.
Across the country, DSA (Socialist Democrats of America) socialists are
mobilizing to arrest Eric Adams. "
"They realize that if I am successful, we are going to
begin the process of regaining control of our cities," said the former
police officer.
Despite being the Democratic nominee, Adams won the support
of New York voters - who are 7 Democrats to 1 Republican - by campaigning to
'roll over' the police, rather than 'defund' showing the city's disapproval.
towards the policies of the current mayor, De Blasio, who took a billion
dollars from the police budget.
