Rudy Giuliani's lawyer's license is suspended

The New York Supreme Court suspended the license of the lawyer and former mayor of the city Rudy Giuliani, after accusing him of making "false and misleading statements" associated with electoral fraud during the US presidential elections in November 2020.

The appeals court ruling said there was "incontrovertible evidence," and that Giuliani made false statements while acting as legal adviser to former President Donald Trump.

Giuliani served as Trump's attorney and spearheaded a legal effort after the controversial Nov.3 election, in which abundant evidence found Trump was fraudulently denied victory in several battle states, including Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
