Million dollar lawsuit after building collapse in Miami

MIAMI.- What is believed to be the first lawsuit against the Champlain Towers South Condominium Association, after the partial collapse of the building located in the town of Surfside, north of Miami Beach, was filed Thursday night in search of a $ 5 million compensation.

The lawsuit was filed by the Brad Shohn law firm and alleges that the condominium association did not "insure and protect lives and property." It also alleges that the victims should be compensated for the alleged negligence of those in charge of the care of the building.
