Peru is another of the Latin American countries that faces
an election that will make the difference between the most painful socialism21
and the democracy to which all people have the right and must defend.
Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa reaffirmed his support
for presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori for embodying "democratic"
values and warned that an eventual Pedro Castillo government "would be a
true catastrophe" that could lead Peru to repeat the "dramatic"
experience of Venezuela .
"Keiko Fujimori represents the possibility of continuing
with the democratic system that we have installed in Peru and that the country
does not go to the catastrophe of which Venezuela is the best example,"
said the 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature on Saturday. an interview with the RPP
