Hotel located in Plaza del Castillo, is opening in June the
first "vertical terrace" in the world.
This 5-star hotel, which is one of the oldest in Spain
(1881), will open its balconies during the day to offer appetizers "Ham
& Champagne" for two people, the heads of the establishment reported
at a press conference.
This vertical terrace arises from the collaboration between
three Navarrese companies that have sought an alternative to activate
employment and offer Pamplona an exclusive, quality and different service.
This is Matukio, a company dedicated to organizing events in
Navarra, Baserriberri, a restaurant led by chef Iñaki Andradas, who will design
a special menu for dinners in the rooms, and the Gran Hotel La Perla.
In this way, during the day the balconies will form a
vertical terrace with tables for two people, who can taste “5J” ham cut Ego
style, created by Emilio García Ortigosa (Ferretería by Ego), one of the best
and innovative cutters in Spain , who will move to Pamplona for the occasion.
The portion of ham can be paired with Taittinger champagne,
premium Estrella Galicia beers, Chivite wines or any type of combination.
