The possibility of holding the Clintons in contempt of court for failing to appear in the Epstein case grows

 

Ohio Republican Representative Jim Jordan has called for an investigation into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the formerly Democrat-led January 6 Commission, which investigated the events at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

In a brief conversation with CNN reporter Manu Raju, Jordan quickly claimed that the investigation was nothing more than a witch hunt targeting then-candidate Donald Trump. He also stated that the Commission should investigate Pelosi and what she knows about what happened on January 6, CNN reported.

Raju asked, "Mr. Jordan, what do you hope to accomplish from a Republican perspective with this investigation?"

You know what this is about. It's about attacking President Trump. The Democrats don't want to talk about anything else, so they have to talk about this. They don't want to talk about the crime that's happening in major urban areas. They don't want to talk about the border crisis. "They don't want to talk about price: the fact that the price of everything has gone up: the price of eggs, the price of milk, the price of lumber, the price of airline tickets, the price of used cars—everything has gone up. They don't want to talk about all that, so they have to talk about how we're going to attack President Trump for a third time," Jordan responded.
