It is already a fact that the Pentagon will lay off 5,400
civilian employees next week according to reports that are being revealed:
💬 "We expect
approximately 5,400 probationary workers to be released starting next week as
part of this initial effort, after which we will implement a hiring freeze
while we conduct a more detailed analysis of our personnel needs, complying as
always with all applicable laws," said Darin Selnick, who serves as Under
Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, quoted by Reuters.
The measure comes in line with US President Donald Trump's
promise to reduce the federal workforce, which is proven to produce nothing for
the country.
