Also words for messaging are blocked by the Cuban regime

The media specialized in data journalism Proyecto Inventario updated this weekend the list of censored words in the SMS sent through the state monopoly (unique and linked to the regime) of Cuban telecommunications, ETECSA, highlights CUBANET.

The list, checked by Inventory and numerous users on the Island, includes the words and phrases "communism", "connection", "demonstration", "Psiphon", "Díaz-Canel singao", "dictatorship", "protest", " SOSCuba ”and“ Patria y Vida ”. For their part, the terms "freedom" and "expression", also censored after the historic protests of July 11 (11J), were already unblocked on August 21.

Following the Inventory request to Cuban Internet users, several ETECSA clients also assured that the expression "Cuba dies" and its variant "CubaMuere" had been blocked.
