North Korea would run out of food

 


The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) warned this Wednesday that North Korea is on the verge of a "period of severe shortages" for the coming months due to the lack of some 860,000 tons of food.

 In a report, the FAO warned that the country is expected to produce some 5.6 million tonnes of grain this year. However, it is estimated that North Korea needs 1.1 tons more to feed its entire population
