International representative for the Americas and the Caribbean region,
responded to the request that the former prisoners of conscience of the
so-called Black Spring of Cuba so that this international organization that
monitors and defends the fulfillment of human rights in the world, declares all
those detained in Cuba as Prisoners of Conscience after the peaceful protests
generated throughout the island on July 11, and also demands that the Cuban
authorities immediate and unconditional release of all those arrested.
"We have also expanded our investigation team on Cuba,
so we will be two people documenting the situation almost full time for the
next 2-3 weeks with the intention of being able to continue reacting and with
the idea of publishing a more detailed document in several weeks ... ",
is the answer received.
