The social discontent that was accumulating over time among
Colombians and that erupted a few days ago, seems to have gotten out of
control.
The streets of the country continue to fill with
disagreement, which was born from a demand for the cancellation of the tax
reform that was tried to impose, but which today has already been overwhelmed
by the national crowd.
The voices that demand a dialogue to end the violence in
Colombia gain relevance while the protests against the government of Iván Duque
continue, which began a week ago to call for the end of the tax reform but
which are a reflection of the discomfort of a great part of Colombian society.
While the demonstrations continue for the ninth consecutive
day in a country that is experiencing the social situation with deep sadness and
discomfort, Duque, who yesterday emphasized that the excesses are due to
"criminal hands" with ties to drug trafficking, today asked "to
hear us as society and find solutions ", although he still does not reach
out to the protest organizations.
