Strict capacity controls will mark the "new
normal" in most communities starting this Sunday, when the state of alarm
subsides and the autonomous governments assume full powers with the aim of
avoiding outbreaks of COVID-19 and without limitations to the mobility of
citizens.
Most communities have advanced this Friday the new rules
that will govern the life of citizens from June 21, which will establish a
minimum interpersonal distance and restrictions also on nightlife.
The Community of Madrid has set a maximum capacity in closed
spaces of 60% from next Sunday, June 21, until July 5, while from July 6 the
capacity will be 75%.
The Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, which has established
these two phases of de-escalation within the new normality, marks, as of July
6, a capacity of 75% in commercial premises, retail establishments, centers and
commercial parks - regardless of its surface-, libraries, archives, monuments,
museums, cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, indoor sports facilities, betting and
gaming establishments, academies, driving schools, regulated training, fairs,
congresses, events and tourist accommodation.
In Catalonia, where the Interior Department has advised that
the beaches in San Juan not be opened to avoid massive parties and that
citizens opt for festivals in groups of less than twenty people, a decree
regulates the minimum safety distance of 1.5 meters. , the mandatory use of the
mask or hand hygiene.
For its part, the Balearic Islands have agreed to limit the
opening hours of nightlife venues to 2 in the morning, always with the dance
floor disabled, and it does not allow the premises with a capacity of more than
300 people to open.
It also prohibits the opening of nightlife venues in the
areas of Playa de Palma, Magaluf and the West End of Ibiza. In those areas,
only premises that have bar, cafeteria and restaurant activity can open, and
the opening of exterior terraces to any premises is allowed provided they are
previously authorized with a maximum capacity of 100 people seated and
maintaining the safety distance between the tables. .
In Andalusia, the capacity allowed inside bars and
restaurants will be 75% and 100% on the terraces, maintaining the security of
one and a half meters and with a maximum concentration of 25 people per table.
