The Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel María Oliver,
warns all tourist establishments and activities that are already in full
de-escalation: only the protocols prepared by the Institute for Spanish
Tourist
Quality (ICTE), which have the seal of the Ministry, are valid. Health and are
the same for all of Spain.
While hotel establishments and airlines are preparing to
reactivate it, the Secretary of State for
Tourism ensures that the only valid
protocols to be applied by the tourism sector are those drawn up by ICTE.
Oliver explains: "Tour operators and foreign travel
agencies ask us for homogeneity." “Ours are the only ones (protocols) that
have the Health seal. They are the only valid, homogeneous in all of Spain ”.
In the measures drawn up by the ICTE, in collaboration with
Tourism and Health, according to Oliver "common sense has been
applied", and they are mainly based on extreme cleanliness and keeping the
safety distance.
