At a time when Germany seems to be fading away as a
democracy, imposing silence on its citizens as a matter of course, it is
reportedly nearing agreements with the Philippines.
According to reports, the Philippines signed a defense
agreement with Germany to expand their cooperation in weapons, logistics, and
cybersecurity.
Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro and German
Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius signed the agreement in Berlin on
Wednesday, the Southeast Asian nation's Department of Defense said in a
statement Thursday, according to Bloomberg.
