French criticize use of thermal radars to monitor them on the M35

Now using so-called artificial intelligence, Strasbourg has deployed its first car-sharing radar on the M35.

These thermal radars, which are beginning to be used in France, detect the number of people in a vehicle and penalize drivers who drive alone in the shared lane with a fine of 135 euros.

As in the United States for years, France has lanes arranged to transport those who travel accompanied more quickly, as a way to encourage sharing vehicles.

The difference is that in France, a country that is experiencing the growth of poverty and the loss of freedoms, the people feel even more offended at being watched by a machine that they claim has no reason to exist.
