Real wages have decreased during Biden's term, reports the United States Census Bureau

Real wages have declined under President Joe Biden, leading to a dramatic increase in the number of Americans living below the poverty line, according to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The report, released last week, found that in 2022, the number of Americans living below the poverty level had increased to 12.4 percent, up from 7.8 percent in 2021.

Democrats controlled both houses of Congress and the White House during Biden's first two years in office, passing monster spending bills that many economists say led to huge inflationary spikes that continue to this day. Meanwhile, the White House has touted the president's economic policies (“Bidenomy,” as they are collectively known) as he heads toward re-election.CBrief
