French people against greater government surveillance on their social networks

 


Another major scandal that has emerged in France is related to government intervention in citizens' social media accounts.

"It's not that we are so naïve in thinking that the government does not have access to our networks, but that it now wants to take it to a greater level of impudence," say French social media users.

The above, in reaction to the fact that the Renaissance deputy Paul Midy, general rapporteur of the digital bill, wants to associate each account on social networks with a digital identity to which the authorities can have access.
