After accusations against Trump, he rises in the polls against Biden

If Democrats and the Biden administration believed that impeaching his main rival, former President Donald Trump, would damage the brand of the Republican Party's 2024 favorite to the point of making him an unviable contender, they were wrong, CBrief publishes.

Trump's poll numbers have not only skyrocketed since he received four indictments in New York, Washington, D.C., Fulton County, Georgia, and South Florida, but he is also leading Biden in critical swing states, according to a new survey.

“The states that had the narrowest margin of victory for any of the candidates in the last cycle were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and Biden won all but North Carolina. In those key states, Trump is ahead of Biden by 41% to 35%, and 24% of voters remain undecided, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll,” The Daily Caller reported.

“Among independent voters, the former president also had a slight lead over Biden, according to the poll. Trump received 32% support among independents to Biden's 30%, and 38% were undecided. Unsure voters favored Biden over Trump 49% to 38%,” The DC noted, citing the poll.
