The people prevailed: Injection in France will not be mandatory

After almost 300,000 French people took to the streets to protest for the fifth consecutive Saturday, the government will not make vaccination against the coronavirus mandatory.

The French government confirmed this Sunday that it will relax the harshness of the health passport after five weeks of continuous protests. The "Green Pass", which certifies in the form of a QR code with a green sign that indicates the complete vaccination scheme against the coronavirus, will now also give green if you have a negative 72-hour PCR test without being vaccinated.

This passport, which was already mandatory since June in some mass events, will be mandatory by presidential decree from this Monday to go to restaurants, bars or cafes, both indoors and outdoors, and to travel on trains, buses and planes. .

The Ministry of Health made these modifications public one day after almost 300,000 people demonstrated throughout France against the requirement of this certificate, since they were considered to be required to be vaccinated to fully exercise civil rights, creating a kind of Apartheid among vaccinated and unvaccinated.
