MIAMI.- Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, declared that
"he will not play the card of fear, nor of the collective hysteria of
COVID-19 to impose restrictions" and added "we are going to give
people information about the facts and that they themselves draw your own
conclusions ”.
The governor stressed that "in Florida there will be no
closings, schools will not close, there will be no restrictions or mandates
from the state", during his appearance, this Friday 30, at a restaurant in
Cape Coral.
DeSantis said Floridians "will have the freedom to
choose what is best for them and that the state will protect the right of its
residents to work, to operate their businesses and for students to attend
school in person."
He also maintained that he will sign an executive order to
"protect the rights of parents", which will allow them to decide
whether their children should wear masks in educational centers.
