NEW YORK- TikTok, a popular social network among young
people, launched a program that allows users to respond to job offers with a
short video instead of submitting a resume in the traditional way.
Dubbed TikTok Resumes, the pilot program began operations on
Wednesday and is limited to the US job market. It is scheduled to last until
July 31.
"TikTok Resumes is officially up and running and
acceptance of TikTok videos resumes," the network's global director of
marketing Nick Tran announced in a statement.
