Tropical storm approaches Japan

TOKYO.- A tropical storm headed northeast Japan on Monday, forcing the organizers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to reschedule some competitions.

The Nepartak storm, whose gusts reach up to 100 km / h, should make landfall on Tuesday, according to the Japanese Meteorological Agency.

It moves to the northeastern regions, including Fukushima. The agency warned about the forecast of heavy rains, winds and high waves in a wide area, which includes the capital of the country.
