Maduro nervous seeks international support for his regime

Given the latest events in Cuba, where the people are determined to end the Castro dictatorship that has oppressed four generations. The Venezuelan government is rushing to find agreements that could prevent it from being the next government overthrown by its people.

Today, Venezuela asked the international community to mediate to stop the economic blockade and sanctions against the South American country, and demanded "respect" for the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples.

The petition was launched by the Minister for Food, Carlos Leal Tellería, during his participation, via videoconference, in the UN Pre-Summit on Food Systems, which is being held in Rome this week.

However, the peoples of different nations of the world are determined to continue supporting each nation that rises up against what they call: tyrant governments.
