End of confinement in England, but urged to continue using tagging

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed today that the restrictions against COVID still in force in England will be lifted on the scheduled date of July 19.

However, Johnson has urged citizens to proceed "cautiously" and continue to wear a mask indoors.

In a press conference from his official office in Downing Street, Johnson stressed that the elimination of the legal impositions introduced with the third confinement last January does not imply that people "can instantly return to life as they were before", since the virus , he said, "it has not disappeared."
