Deaths are already counted in demonstrations attacked by allies of Díaz-Canel in Cuba

MIAMI.- Diubis Laurencio -the first deceased officially accepted by Cuba in the protests- was a boy from the neighborhood, I remember his face, although we have probably only exchanged words once. Or nothing.

I did not know his name, although I lived for 16 years in the neighborhood, seeing the same long faces and street vendors, the same bonches and the same street fights, as well as the same smiles between alcohol, dominoes and transvestite shows.

Started in San Antonio de los Baños, a city famous for its International Film School, the flame of freedom of expression to shout "we are hungry", "Homeland and Life", and other phrases that move away from the traditionally allowed slogans in the nation, spread through municipalities and localities from the capital to Guantánamo, at the easternmost point of the island.
