Trump Announces Partnership with Elon Musk to Implement Artificial Intelligence in the Federal Government

The Trump administration announced on Tuesday a strategic agreement with xAI, the artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, to modernize and optimize the work of federal agencies.

As part of the agreement, U.S. government agencies will have access to the Grok 4 and Grok 4 Fast models through 2027, cutting-edge tools that, according to Musk, represent the most advanced computing power and AI innovation globally.

In a statement, the entrepreneur highlighted the significance of the agreement:

"xAI has the most powerful AI computing and the most capable AI models in the world. Thanks to President Trump and his administration, xAI's cutting-edge AI is now available to all federal agencies, enabling the U.S. government to innovate more rapidly and accomplish its mission more effectively than ever before. We look forward to continuing to work with President Trump and his team to rapidly implement AI across the government for the benefit of the country."

The White House presented the initiative as a decisive step toward modernizing the federal government, promising to improve administrative processes, speed up decision-making, and reduce operating costs. Analysts emphasize, however, that the measure raises debates about data security, transparency, and potential ethical implications in the use of artificial intelligence systems by the public sector.

The agreement also reinforces Musk's growing influence in strategic sectors of the country, from the aerospace industry with SpaceX to satellite communications with Starlink, and now with the introduction of AI into government management.
