A North Carolina Republican is back in the spotlight after a
heated incident with a voter, but this time, the lawmaker is accused of taking
the law into his own hands.
Representative Chuck Edwards, Republican of North Carolina,
allegedly hit an attendee with a clipboard at a nonpartisan event Saturday
night after launching into a pro-Trump tirade, according to a witness.
This is the second time recently that Edwards has sparked
controversy at a constituent event, DailyMail.com reported. The incident took
place during an event in Asheville, North Carolina, and was supposed to focus
on Hurricane Helene relief for Rotary District 7670, an area severely affected
by the storm.
