Chuck Schumer is criticized for not responding. Since when did he learn of Biden's mental deterioration?

 

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is under fire for refusing to answer a CNN anchor's question about when he learned of former President Joe Biden's apparent mental deterioration during his term.

During an interview with CNN's Kasie Hunt, the New York Democrat declined to directly answer the question, stating instead that he and his party were "looking forward" and focused on opposing President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, even if their policies benefit the country.

As part of the upcoming book "Original Sin," co-written by CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson, which examines Biden's decline and the efforts of those around him to hide it, Hunt posed a question to Schumer that, in essence, evoked the classic "What did you know, and when did you know it?" question.

"You really had no idea he wasn't fit for a second term?" she asked.
