Microsoft founder Bill Gates used an appearance with the
far-left co-hosts of ABC's "The View" to complain about fellow
billionaire Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency's efforts to
shut down USAID.
"Well, Elon, your work in the private sector has been
very innovative, really fantastic," Gates said after learning of the
closure of USAID offices and the freezing of the charity's funding.
"A lot of people in the private sector, when they get
into government, don't take the time to see what's good about it or why it's
structured the way it is, so I'm a little concerned, especially with the USAID
issue," Gates continued.
Forgetting that it has already been revealed how USAID was
used to give millions and millions of dollars to his foundation and ultimately
into his pocket—because of the millions of dollars that came in from citizen
contributions to his foundation, only 25% was used by Gates to sustain his role
as a "benefactor"—the businessman dared to declare the incredible:
"My foundation collaborates with USAID in nutrition and
vaccine distribution, and, as you know, there are incredible people
there," he added. "These are not worms working there. So, hopefully,
we'll get some of that work back." In fact, if we don't, we could
literally have millions of deaths."
