The U.S. Department of Government Efficiency released
shocking findings on Sunday: the Biden-Harris administration had awarded
hundreds of millions of dollars in government contracts to an unexpected group:
children.
An announcement from the agency revealed that the Small
Business Administration (SBA) disbursed $312 million to companies whose
purported owners are under the age of 11. This revelation comes at a time when
DOGE is working to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in federal spending.
“While it is possible to have business arrangements where
this is legal, this is highly unlikely to occur in the case of these 5,593
loans, as all of them also used a social security number in the wrong name,”
the agency wrote. “@DOGE and @SBAgov are working together to resolve this issue
this week.”
