Former President Donald Trump addressed a question about the
possibility of being convicted in any of the four indictments against him and
facing the threat of prison in a nonchalant manner during an interview with
NBC's Kristen Welker.
During a segment of the "Meet the Press"
interview, Trump highlighted the possibility of serving time behind bars:
"I'm built a little differently."
“I don't even think about that,” he said during the
interview, which aired Sunday. “I'm a little different, I guess, because some
people have come up to me and said, 'How do you do it, sir? How do you do it?’
I don’t even think about that.”
“I don't even think about that. “They are corrupt people I
am dealing with,” he added. “They are destroying our country. I don't even
think about that. The only thing I think about is making the country great,
making the United States great. Look, these are political accusations, these
are banana republic accusations. These are accusations from the third world.”
