New York suffers the effects of governments that ignore the
maintenance that corresponds to those who manage the population's money.
For some time now, the democratic state and local
governments have been criticized for having let go of their responsibility for
the security, economy and maintenance of cities. Today, the population is
complaining about the floods, which, although they are part of the vast
rainfall, the main origin is carelessness. Total that is experienced due to
lack of maintenance.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a state of
emergency in New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley due to extreme
rainfall and flooding.
"This is a dangerous, life-threatening storm,"
Hochul said in an interview with television station NY1.
